| Abstract |
Current state-of-practice solar arrays deliver power up to 27kW. In light of solar array developments that potentially allow power generation up to 720 kW within existing rocket fairings, new potential missions will be discussed. SMC will discuss potential plans for implementation of Li-ion batteries in these missions. Aggressive power storage requirements will drive high capacity/high rate cell development, and may necessitate development of other storage approaches. |
